The purpose of Air Force Network-Centric Solutions 2 (NETCENTS 2) is to provide Air Force, Department of Defense (DoD), and other Federal Agencies with a primary source of networking equipment/product supply and a means of system engineering, installation, integration, operations, and maintenance for a family of DoD adopted commercially standardized networking solutions that are interoperable with Air Force, Joint, and DoD Standardized Networking Technical Architectures.
Harris IT Services (purchased Multimax after Small Business Award)
In 2004, Multimax was awarded one of the eight NETCENTS indefinite delivery, and indefinite quantity contracts. Multimax was awarded one of four Small business category contracts. In 2005, Harris IT Services purchased Multimax and assumed its NETCENTS contract.
